Research releases
We publish dated research releases derived from our archive of USCIS processing-time publications. Each release states one claim, ships the row-level data and the chart behind it, records the exact snapshots and method used, and names the claims the data does not support. Releases are permanent: each keeps its own URL and is not rewritten after publication.

Published upper-bound change, May 22–June 23, 2026
Across 492 comparable form-office-subtype series, the published upper bound was higher for 255 (51.8%), lower for 78 (15.9%), and unchanged for 159.
Each series is equally weighted. The result is not weighted by application or receipt volume, and does not measure how many applicants waited longer.
